Currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in our Bloomington, Minnesota facility.
9 Month + Contract
The selected candidate will be a key quality assurance representative for our mission critical programs. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance while working with our Integrated Product Teams to collaborate and manage the ongoing production build and test activities for a diverse range of complex circuit card assemblies and mission computers. The Senior Quality Engineer will enhance his/her skill set among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge, experience, and skills in the following areas
Need to be a degreed engineer
Looking for 2 -5 years ideally with quality experience.
Strong documentation within corrective action, someone who has been customer facing before.
Supporting a production floor and handling and component issues with suppliers.
These parts will be machine parts, electrical components, Integrated circuits, PWBs.
PWB experience would be extremely helpful.
Working with suppliers on performance metrics - responsible for collecting their root cause corrective actions and approving them
Might cross into manufacturing - more non conformance work there but that would be available.
Can hold a clearance - clearable, will process a secret ASAP.
As far as standards go: AS9100, AS9102 are most important, various mil specs related to aerospace would be helpful.
9-month contract - there is an intern who graduates in the Spring who is taking the role. Don't expect much after that, but a lot can change in 9 months.
Process will be Phone interview, to onsite, to hire.

- Identifies inspection requirements based on technical documentation
- Analyzes and dispositions non-conformances
- Conducts root cause analysis and establishes and implements corrective actions
- Monitors product and process performance for trends and addresses
- Implements continual improvement
- Travel may be required
