As a member of the Advanced Development Program (Skunkworks) team, the person filling this role with enjoy a fast-paced, challenging yet exciting environment.

Day-to-day activities will have this person investigating, seeking to understand and applying advanced development standards, processes, procedures, and tools. Additionally, the role will participate in all Agile ceremonies throughout each iteration and increment of the project. A minimal level of business acumen and/or customer-facing experience will be a plus.

The responsibilities of the ADP Software Engineer Staff will span the software development lifecycle, including requirements generation, software design, implementation, integration, and flight test. Responsibilities will include the vehicle systems domain. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering; or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with C and/or C++
Experience with Linux and associated development toolchains
Experience with Vehicle Management System (VMS) architectures
Experience with embedded real-time systems (RTOS)
Experience working with safety/flight critical software development processes
Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering; or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Desired Skills:

Experience with compilers, debuggers, static analysis tools, and dynamics analysis tools
Experience with Systems Engineering processes (requirements development, use cases, data flows, etc.)
Experience with automated test methodologies
Experience with Modeling and Simulation (including familiarity with MATLAB)
Experience with Xilinx UltraScale+ SoC architecture
Experience with hardware protocols (e.g., ARINC-429, RS-485, I2C, SPI, etc.)
Ability to build/maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
Experience with version control (git, subversion, etc.)
Experience with Agile Software Development
